Who we are
Camalot Todd founded Camalot Co., a communications and creative company, in February 2026 after 12 years as a journalist and communications director.
Campaigns under her leadership have generated over 50 press hits with a reach of 78,251,818 and an Ad Value Equivalency (the amount needed to spend on ads to achieve the same reach) of $722,567.78.
She has been interviewed by 60 Minutes, City Cast Las Vegas, NPR affiliates, It's All Journalism, the National Association of Hispanic Journalists, and more. She is a Women in Media Center SheSource.
Previously, she oversaw a staff of three, developed the communication strategy for a 501 (c) (3) and 501 (c) (4) nonprofit where she served as the primary spokesperson. She enjoyed a decade-long career as a reporter, winning the Nevada Press Association’s Best Investigative Story and Best Community Reporter awards, as well as Mental Health Advocates of Western New York’s Advocacy Award.
She was chosen as one of 13 Fellows for the 2026 Stop The Money Pipeline Local Leads Global Impacts Organizing Program. She was one of nine reporters nationally to be awarded the USC Annenberg Center for Health Journalism’s Domestic Violence Impact Reporting Fund in 2023. She was also a National Press Foundation’s 2021 Opioid and Addiction Fellow, the first Nevadan to join the national nonprofit Report For America, and taught journalism as the first educator for the Syracuse Journalism Lab.
